I have this plant all over my yard in clumps and love it- dies back each year and comes back. Amazing fertilizer- my chickens don’t bother it. It’s only invasive if you let it. Chop it sell it pay off your mortgage because big box stores don’t carry it.

Is there a way to preserve dried bamboo? My husband has mentioned using wood stain (as these pieces died naturally and I collected them to keep them from rotting) but I prefer environmentally friendly options, if you have any! Also - I’m not sure of the correct name for what I am trying to preserve, but I know it’s what I grew up using as “cane fishing poles.” I’m a newb to growing anything well, so I appreciate your channel and advice so much!!

Great video! It’s important to point out anytime selling “ cuttings” be sure that the plant isn’t Patented. It’s important any cuttings don’t come from a plant that has been purchased from any store. Legal cuttings must come from a “ earth bound plant grown from seed with no patent attached. If not it’s an easy way to get in trouble and face fines. I had no idea until my neighbor got in big trouble selling cuttings on Etsy. She had to go to court and pay a hefty fine.

Don't need to wait for the full head to develop and havest the whole thing at once. I got lettuce plants I've been eating off of for 2 months. You havest everything at once and you got greens for only a few days.
